Have questions? We’ve got answers.
From what to wear to where to stay, here’s everything you might want to know before the big day.

  • Will there be food and drinks?
    Yes! Join us for cocktail hour right after the ceremony, followed by dinner, dessert, and dancing. Please note- We will have an open bar serving beer and wine only. Liquor/spirits are not allowed on the premises. Cheers!
  • Are you registered?
    Your presence is the best gift! But if you’d like to view our registry, you’ll find the link on the Registry page.
  • Is everything happening in the same place?
    Yes! From the ceremony to the reception and dinner, it’s all happening at Helwig Winery, so no need to worry about travel between venues.
  • What should I wear?
    Dress to Impress — Think Classy Cocktail Think elegant and elevated — dresses or jumpsuits, suits or dress shirts with slacks. No need for tuxes or gowns, but definitely leave the jeans, polos, and casualwear at home.
  • Where should I stay?
    We’ve gathered a list of nearby hotels and inns, ranging from boutique to budget-friendly. Visit the Travel & Lodging section for details and links.
  • What happens if it rains?
    The reception will be held under tents/covered areas in case of rain, so no worries!
  • Will the ceremony be unplugged?
    Yes. We kindly ask that you put away all phones and cameras during the ceremony. We want everyone fully present — we promise to share beautiful professional photos afterward!
  • Have you RSVP’d yet?
    If you haven’t RSVP’d yet, please take a moment to do so — we want to make sure your seat is saved!
  • Is parking available at the venue?
    Yes, there is plenty of parking available on-site at Helwig Winery for all guests. We will have a shuttle running from the venue to the hotels at the end of the night as well.
  • Can I bring my pet?
    We love pets, but unfortunately, the venue does not allow animals except for service animals.
  • When and where is the wedding?
    The ceremony will take place at Helwig Winery in Plymouth, CA on May 23, 2026. Ceremony begins promptly at 5:00 PM — please arrive by 4:00 PM to be seated, as guests arriving late will be asked to wait until after the ceremony to join.
  • Who do I contact if I have questions close to the event?
    For any last-minute questions or details, please reach out to our Maid of Honor, Sophia Gelsman at (415)858-9771.
  • Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
    Yes, Helwig Winery is wheelchair accessible and is equipped with golf carts to shuttle guests as needed. If you have specific accessibility needs, please contact us ahead of time.
  • Can I take photos during the reception?
    Feel free to take photos during cocktail hour and the reception. Please just remember the ceremony is unplugged.
  • Can I bring a plus one?
    Please refer to your invitation — only those listed are invited. Thank you for understanding as we keep our celebration intimate.
  • What if my plans change after I RSVP?
    No worries! Please contact Lexi at (530)863-8269 if your attendance changes or if you need to update your RSVP.
  • Are kids invited?
    We love your little ones, but our wedding will be adults-only. We hope this gives you a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening!
  • Will there be hair and makeup?
    Yes! Lexi has arranged for a professional hair and makeup team for the wedding day. If you plan to use the team, please let Lexi know in advance so we can include you in the schedule and coordinate timing. Spots are limited, so early notice is appreciated!
  • Will meals be provided?
    Yes — meals will be provided at key points throughout the weekend, including the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. We'll let you know if you need to bring anything specific.
  • Can I help with anything ahead of time?
    If you’re open to helping with light setup, errands, or emotional support duties (aka hype crew), let Lexi or Sophia know!
  • Can I bring a plus one?
    Please refer to your invitation or check with Lexi — plus ones for the wedding party vary depending on space.
  • What are my responsibilities as part of the wedding party?
    Your main job? Show up, look great, and bring good vibes. That said, you might also be asked to help with a few key things — like calming nerves, hyping up the dance floor, or, yes, even helping Lexi escape a surprise cornering by Aunt Suzy (you’ll know her when you see her). Teamwork makes the wedding day smooth — and unforgettable!
  • Is there a schedule for the weekend?
    Yes! A detailed itinerary will be shared soon so you’ll know where to be and when. Expect a rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, getting ready together, and of course, celebrating all weekend.
  • Do I need to prepare a speech or toast?
    Only a few people will be giving speeches during the reception, and those individuals have already been contacted. If you haven't heard from Lexi or Marc about making a toast, you're officially off the hook — just relax and enjoy! Your love and presence mean the world to us, and we can’t wait to celebrate together.
  • Who should I contact with questions?
    Please reach out to Lexi or the Maid of Honor, Sophia Gelsman, for any questions about schedules, attire, or duties.
  • When and where do we need to be?
    The wedding weekend officially begins on Friday, May 22nd at 11:00 AM when Davancy Chateau opens for everyone to arrive and get settled. All main events, including the ceremony and reception, will take place at Helwig Winery. Lexi will provide you with details shortly.
  • What should I wear?
    We’ll provide guidance on attire soon — think classy and coordinated with the overall wedding theme. Specific details will be shared via group text. Inspo here: Pinterest
  • What should I bring with me?
    Bring your wedding day outfit, shoes, accessories, and any personal items you’ll need to get ready. Don’t forget a swimsuit if you’d like to enjoy the pool during downtime! Lexi will reach out with any specific requests or reminders ahead of the weekend.
  • Will transportation be provided?
    Yes, there will be a shuttle provided to take the wedding party to and from the venue.
